Funny you should mention rocks. One of my favorite quotes from a movie is from Forrest Gump.

One day, Jenny and Forrest come across her old childhood home. The painful memories of her father’s abuse come rushing back to Jenny and she begins throwing rocks at the house in anger and pain. She finally runs out of rocks and drops to the ground, sobbing. Forrest sits down next to her and says, “Sometimes, I guess, there just aren’t enough rocks.”

I’ve felt like that. In fact, the day I found out I couldn’t have children I stood on a dirt road and threw rocks at the side of an old barn, my husband beside me.
