What constitutes witness tampering and who decides that issue?

Asked by chyna (51588points) August 14th, 2023 from iPhone

trump is on Truth Social calling the Lt. Governor of Georgia, Jeff Duncan, a few names and saying he refused a special counsel investigation (isn’t that what they’ve been doing for 2 years?) and of course called it a witch hunt.
At what point does running his mouth get him thrown in jail?

The judge decides. As for the rules – that’s up to the judge.

Since the Georgia indictments haven’t yet been handed down (may not be for a day or two), there is not a judge assigned to the Fulton County case yet. So no tampering yet.

I don’t have a legal background, but in my opinion jury tampering is getting in contact with jurors, threatening them, naming them, addressing them in any way indirectly or directly.
