To find out more about him/her?

Do some men/women do that?
Is it common?

No. Ma6be for very young children, but it is uncommon after middle-school. Sorry, @RedDeerGuy1, but if you are referring to the “pig” incident, she probably genuinely meant it as an insult.

@canidmajor is right. All of that is only for children and/or teens.

I an sorry it still hurts you. I wonder if communicating with that person as an adult, in a session, may be helpful to you. To understand what happened and why.

My dad does that with his female friends, and they do it back.
They’re all baby boomers. I think it’s their version of small talk, or playful small talk.
I find it annoying and a waste of energy, and never do it with my friends or girlfriends.
Not only because it’s inane like small talk, but also because playful fighting is passive-aggressive and toxicity can build up from that .

@all Thanks. I was wondering why she ended up dating me for 4+ months? Was it to hurt me more? Or was she confused?

No….........not past the age of 8.

You would have to ask her, @RedDeerGuy1. We can’t begin to second guess the emotions and motives of a woman we have never met from 20+ years ago.

@canidmajor I am still scared of her. From being interrogated by the cops and being on the dean’s attention. Last time that I had contact was 5 years ago on Facebook. I doubt that either one of us would have the courage to admit mistakes, at this time.

Well then, as others have suggested, work with your therapist to move on from this. Someone trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy should be able to give you the tools to cope with this.
