In the Dracula/Nosferatu movies, the names of Mina and Lucy are often transposed. Why?

Creatives wanted to play around and twist things in adapting Stoker’s original work. Maybe they felt the material’s been well exposed and gotten too familiar with generations of audiences that making narrative tweaks here and there would stir commercial interest. I also think a lot of it was simply whim.

There is no definitive adaptation of Stoker’s book yet, no TV movie, no TV series or even full-length movie.

Last time I checked I did agree with this guy who took the time and admirable effort to research.
