What should Israel do next if after a two-state plan had been implemented yet more terrorist attacks come from Palestine?

1) the two-state plan is dead. It will never happen.
2) fight back
Agree, there is no future for this two-state fantasy.
Israel gave peace a chance. Time to chase the rats out of Gaza.
Now ask this question from the other perspective.
What should the Palaestinians do if after a two state plan has been implemented, Israel continues to curtail the flow of goods, water and electricity into Gaza. continues to control the Palaestinian fishing waters. Continues to evict Palaestinians from their homes, bulldozing their houses and replacing them with Israeli settlers.
@gondwanalon You should reconsider your use of language
@gondwanalon They really never have. Settling in the Occupied territories after 1967 and cutting off Palestinians from their farms and orchards and killing them has not promoted peace.
A two state solution is the only solution or a totally secular Israel but we are further away than ever from such a solution.
This a really good article.
Ah I just saw that @ragingloli just made the same point.
I compare Hamas with Nazis. They represent the lowest form of humans. Both are war criminals of the worst degree. It is an insult to rats to compare them as such.
I agree, they are barbarians.
In such a world, I would expect the IDF to coordinate with the Palestinian state government to extradite the suspects for a fair trial. if the Palestinian State refuses to participate, It’s arguable that a raid similar to what was done to capture/kill Bin Laden would be appropriate. I would certainly cheer on the Israeli commandos attempting such a mission (as I would now if they were using similar tactics to retrieve the hostages and capture/kill Hamas). I would also support an expansion of the Iron Dome system to the point where rockets were not a threat to public safety. That would dramatically limit the amount of carnage a terrorist could cause. I think after a generation or two of Palestinians having their own state, most of the extreme trauma suffered from “having their grass cut” would have dissipated and eventually both nations could hope for a prosperous future. I can’t remember the last time a Native American scalped someone in retribution for ethnic cleansing. Such a fact gives me hope for the future.
According to one poll, “fewer than 2 in 10 Arabs, both Palestinian and all others, believe in Israel’s right to exist as a nation with a Jewish majority.”[63] Another poll, however, cited by the US State Department, suggests that “78 percent of Palestinians and 74 percent of Israelis believe a peace agreement that leads to both states living side by side as good neighbors” is “essential or desirable”.[64][65]
As of 2021, most Palestinians are against the two-state solution. In 2021, a poll by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research revealed that 39% of Palestinians accept a two-state solution, while 59% said they rejected it.[11] Support is even lower among younger Palestinians
I don’t think the two state solution will ever happen. I have supported since I heard of it, but the more I see the less I think it could be a reality.
