I have already given up drugs/booze.
Last Sunday I was ready to give up booze…but that was last Sunday. I have two small children, so it’s pretty easy to guess what I’ve already “given up”.
That’s a tough one! Can I give up one on one day and then another on a next, etc and just kind I’d rotate them? Would that count?
I would say you’d have to go at least 2 months giving up one.
This question was thinly masked attempt to raise the standing of the topic “sex” in the Fluther topic cloud
Oh! I thought it was really a question!
I think sex would be bigger in the cloud if more people said sex more often in their sex threads. Not sure if it matters how many times you write “sex” though. Maybe “sex” only works in the question. Ok, I’m done typing “sex” now.
Maybe I can help by writing “sex” a few more times because you really can’t have “sex” added to a post too many times. Sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, and more sex.
Great, now I’m horny…
i don’t have drugs n booze anyway, so i would give that up, now if you’ll excuse me, i have to go to my guitar lessons :)
Drugs/booze, no question. I got long periods without that stuff anyway so giving it up shouldn’t be too hard…
Too much of anything can be a bad thing.
One would think Rock & Roll would be the easiest thing on the list because it is only music but to some Rock & Roll is freedom at it’s best. As Neil Young said “There is more to the picture than meets the eye” Rock & Roll will never die.
Rock & Roll in it’s purist form is a stance of rebellion. Back in the beginning when such performers like Carl Perkins said “don’t step on my blue suede shoes” and The Stones said, “hey you get off of my cloud” they became anthems for the youth and a movement of antiestablishment.
Since a large portion of America has been raised on the radio it would be hard to imagine life without it.
For me it would be an easy choice get rid of drugs and booze because they are more harmful to the body and mind.
Sex, then booze and drugs. Never Rock N roll. never.
Never do booze or drugs, so I’ll gladly leave them.
I’d give up Rock and roll. With sex, booze and drugs, I’ll make my own rock and roll. :)
You’re all welcome to my share of booze & drugs. Once it’s divided up, you’re only going to get about 2 Tablespoons of wine each. Sorry! ;)
I don’t want to answer the question, but here are my thoughts:
1. Sex, I don’t want to give up, but eventually I have to.
2. Drugs/booze: I am pretty sure that I can never give up once I am in.
3. Rock and roll: it depends on WHOSE rock ‘n roll.
Drugs/booze…that’s easy to get rid of!
@cak—just not the meds that make these DB’s funny, though. Right?—
@spatzie…not yet! ;) I tend to need them to understand what the heck some people are trying to say!
First: Drugs and Booze (don’t do them anymore anyway).
Second: Rock n Roll (now if you mean ALL music – that would be tough, but still…)
Never Sex: Besides what would I do with my hands?
i’d give up drugs/booze first – i don’t do drugs and i am an infrequent drinker. i don’t expect to ever give up sex – i’ll be a horny old biddy one day, with my metallica on.
Easily, drugs/booze (I am assuming that is recreational drugs only. My liver has become accustomed to massive doses of ibuprofen.)
Drugs and booze, for sure. I can find my own highs – through sex and Rock n Roll, for example. :D
@jca, picturing jca in her old horny biddy days…....lol
Drugs. I need my Creedence Clearwater Revival.
And I <3 boys.
I could never give up music or booze. And I don’t even like sex. So that’s a pretty easy question for me.
