How complicated is it to get a photo identification for a newborn?
How does one take a picture when the baby is squirming around?
Humor welcome.

Easy-peasy. They don’t always squirm.
My daughter had to get a passport in Japan for her newborn. The passport people don’t seem to have a clue, for they told her the photo must be taken while the person is standing or sitting. And there’s no baby seat. This meant they’d prop the baby up, and the photographer had to be super quick to get the picture before the baby fell over.
They were laughing so hard they were all crying!
@snowberry That reminds me of the time that the photographer came for my free session. when my son was five weeks old. that colicky, persnickety baby was sleeping and we could barely wake him up for the photos!
Put them on a bed and aim the camera downwards. Take the photo at an opportune time.
