If you were to cut off the tips of 2 of your fingers, and pressed them together, would they fuse over time?

Over several days/weeks. Would the body know they are supposed to be separate?

Possibly in a child’s fingers because they generate new cells faster but not in an adult’s.

Excellent question. If you totally immobilized and stayed still for a month than maybe.

You might need a couple of leaching treatments to get rid of the stale blood.

I think they would otherwise skin grafts and plastic surgery or flap surgery wouldn’t work.
