What was the most surprising thing that happened to you in Wordle?

Accidents happen.

One thing that has changed for me in Wordle. I used to overthink my letters – try to psych it out with percentages and backups and so on.

Recently I have been thinking list and choosing potential words based on gut feel, not thought, and that’s working better.

That good friend of mine felt the need to post his score daily on FB leading me to unfollow him.

You unfollowed a “good friend” because of that? Wow, harsh.

It led me to Quordle, Octordle, and Redactle.

@cookieman same here, my old friend M*** posts his score very morning.

@canidmajor: “Good” might’ve been a stretch. Plus, he’s better in person.

NYT say I have played 7 times and succeeded 4 times with 3 guesses.

I find that weird. Too many. I’m no genius. It makes me curious about the relation between particular vowels and particular consonants and how often words have one or more syllables.

I have several people posting Wordle scores everyday. But one gal, in particular, accompanies every one of hers with some form of what seems like mild bragging along the lines of how easy it was for her. So annoying.

My personal best was done in 2! There. I bragged!

Probably the day that my start word was the solution.

The most surprising thing for me about Wordle is the hostility some people feel about it.

@canidmajor I think it’s because o fall the chatter about it on FB by people who play it. It’s like the Pokemon of the 21st century.

That’s why god invented scrolling!
