If you remember she was the woman who greatly needed an abortion, the fetus wouldn’t live for more than maybe a few days after birth and most likely be still born, greatly affecting her health and chances of having children in the future.
She got the court to agree but the Texas AG said no.
So she left the state to obtain an abortion ,what will happen when she returns?

Time will tell, unless she gets the privacy she deserves as a person.
probably try to charge her for “murder”.
That’s what I am wondering?
I wouldn’t be surprised even knowing the fetus wouldn’t live, the Rep/cons try and charge her.
Texas will probably try to go after her to ‘make an example’, but ultimately, they’ll lose in court and her legal fees will almost certainly have been picked up by some political group or another. If the case starts to get close to SCOTUS, expect Texas to drop the case in order to render it moot to avoid the risk of a broad ruling against this sort of thing. Rather like NY does with it’s attempts to end run around gun rulings.
Getting this to the scotus is definitely the goal. they will OK texas punishing abortion by death, which will then give the green light to other repressive states to enact the same laws. that is what they did with repealing RvW, and that is what they will do here. Ultimately they will of course then push to make it a capital crime on a federal level. That is when they will pretend that they never heard of “states’ rights”.
@ragingloli That’s not what @Entropy said:

Texas won’t want it to go to SCOTUS.
She will be hounded and assailed by Trumpist assholes just like the Georgia election workers and Sandy Hook families.
I salute her bravery.
If she moves to a state with fewer evil monsters and takes a new name I will understand.
Let’s first admit that you only asked this question so you could say “Cox Face”.
@smudges and I am saying they DO want it to go to scotus
Probably nothing. The ruling on abortion was in TX. TX law does not control actions in other states.
