Is it normal for me not to show teeth when I smile?
I see models showing teeth, and it doesn’t seem normal for me to do it.
What about you?
Humor welcome.

Is it normal for you??? I’d say YES!!!
Is it normal for me??? Nope.
NOT everybody shows teeth when they smile & I’ve NEVER heard that showing teeth is a requirement…it’s just natural for me!!! Since it doesn’t seem normal for you, forcing it would give you a FAKE smile which is WORSE than not smiling at all.
Do what feels normal for you!!!
I guess if you got paid thousands to show your teeth when you smile, you’d find yourself feeling pretty damned comfortable doing it. ;D
When I smile, I usually don’t show my teeth that much. I don’t have the greatest teeth in the world so it might be some sort of subconscious desire to hide that fact, but I just don’t smile that way. My brother, on the other hand, in every picture I’ve seen of him on Facebook, insists on having this huge grin on his face with all his teeth showing. Somebody’s got to tell him at some point that that smile not only really looks fake but is a bit frightening, lol!
It may not be normal but it’s OK. When I was a kid I always had my pictures taken with me sans smile. I thought it suited me better.
I don’t like my smile, so I rarely do.
I also don’t show teeth when I smile.
However you naturally smile is your normal.
Most people who are not happy with their teeth, will not smile showing said teeth.
I usually smile with my mouth closed.
My mom says that a closed mouth smile is a sign of a more guarded personality.
A lot really depends on how big your teeth are. My teeth are small and while I have no problem showing them, it just doesn’t naturally happen when I smile.
My dad said I had to show my teeth cuz he spent a couple grand on making them perfect. I’ve always gotten compliments on my smile. So yeah.
