Real butter and maple syrup or raspberry syrup. Sometimes on one of them (since I never have just one!) I’ll put butter and sugar.

Genuine maple syrup is our favorite. Butter melted on top then generously robed in powdered sugar and cinnamon is good too.

Blueberry syrup is really good, but I only want it if it has blueberries in it. Otherwise, I like syrup, but don’t usually bother with butter. And I don’t like maple syrup, sorry, but something relatively thin and not sickeningly sweet.

My mom used to make pancakes occasionally when we were young and then heat up some cherry pie filling and then we would spoon it on top of the pancakes and that was really good. She would also sometimes slice up apples thinly in the pancake batter and cook up the pancakes that way and then we would lightly cover them with sugar before eating. That was also really good!

@LifeQuestioner My mom did pancakes with apples too. She called them apple flapjacks. She would do it with blueberries sometimes. I have done it with peaches. Soo good.
