Name a video game that you finished from start to finish in one sitting?
Or at an arcade with one credit?
I played Blasto from PS1 and finished in one day as we didn’t have a memory card.

Only 3 come to mind potentially:
Antenna, 35 minutes
Jusant, 4 hours
Stray, 6 hours.
For stray, I do not quite remember if I did that in one go.
Super Mario Bros 1, 2 & 3, Metal Gear,Rad Racer, Contra… I’m sure there are others. That was back when console games were designed for this.
Mario back in the day, college era.
Not a one. I like RPGs and they usually take hundreds of hours to go all the way through the game, unless you’re using something like a Game genie or cheat codes and I never liked to use those. I always felt like that took away the challenge and thus the fun of the game.
@elbanditoroso is there a point at which you actually beat Tetris? I thought it just went on and on forever but then I’ve only ever gotten so far.
@ragingloli I guess the game froze because it wouldn’t allow the score to go any higher. I couldn’t read the whole article because I don’t have a subscription.
@LifeQuestioner heck no, I had some pretty long and successful runs, but NEVER actually beat it.
@LifeQuestioner That’s it. The game freezes, and it cannot throw any more blocks. That’s how you “win.”
Backgammon. Checkers. Chess. Solitaire.
If you mean, without having gained experience with it in earlier sessions, then there are a few.
One that comes to mind is:
Alpaca Stacka
@Zaku okay, now you have my curiosity up! What is the game Alpaca Stacka?
I don’t know if I’ve ever played a game for the very first time and then beating it all the way through, but then I tend to take breaks to rest my eyes and such.
