How are our Southern California Jellies doing in the "atmospheric river"?

IIRC: Sarcasm, Future Memory, and Dog also live in So Cal, but I think they’re long gone.

@chyna Yes. I was there during peak rain. Things seemed well under control. The roads drained reasonably well. The hotel where I stayed had pumps and hoses on the roof to help remove water that pooled on the flat roof. They even had a pump on top of a storm drain in case it stopped flowing. They were prepared – almost like they had it happen before.

Depends on where you are. Santa Barbara airport is closed indefinitely because the runways are flooded. The airport was built on filled in wetlands when it was commissioned in 1942.

We have flood warnings until tomorrow in the Bay Area, and a number of closed roads because of mudslides.
