Anderson Cooper interviewed former Republican Party Leader of Wisconsin, Andrew Hitt, about his part in the fake electors scheme of 2020. Mr. Hitt was a very loyal Trump voter at the time, but says he always believed Trump lost in Wisconsin and went along with the scheme because he was both tricked and afraid of Trump supporters.
I wonder how widely known this story is across Wisconsin, and if it influences Republicans to not vote for Trump. I wonder if it influences any Trump voters in any state.
Here’s a story about it. https://www.wpr.org/politics/former-wisconsin-gop-chair-said-he-feared-trump-supporters
Here is video of the interview. I recommend watching the video. https://youtu.be/hDChZgoBdFI?si=r1yl-eoz2ObTe6jL

I saw him interviewed the other morning on a news show, or maybe it was 60 Minutes.
I’m convinced that Trump supporters are blind to anything and vote for him no matter what. Trump said it himself, I forgot the exact quote – he could stand on 5th Avenue and shoot people or something like that, and people would still vote for him.
All of the terrible things that he’s said and done, and yet people still justify everything, and say there’s nothing wrong with it. His terrible comments, they say “he has no filter. That’s why I like him.” His terrible actions, they excuse. Making fun of the reporter who had cerebral palsy, that’s ok. Talking about grabbing women by the pussy, that’s ok. Calling women horse face and fat, that’s ok. That’s jsut the tip of the iceberg. It’s all good with all of them. January 6th? It was just a tour of the building. No problem here, folks, move along.
@jca2 I’m hoping it influences Republicans in WI and other states to vote for Nikki in the primary. The die hard Trumpers can’t be influenced, I agree with that.
Actually, I hope it influences Republicans, Democrats, and Independents to vote for Nikki in the primary.
Even here on FL, Trump lovers will look at everyone else like “no, it’s you, your perspective is wrong.” It’s really inconceivable.
It influenced Andrew Hitt. He was a strong Trump supporter and now he’s a never Trump person. That’s one vote.
I think it influenced him because he was scared for his safety and the safety of his family.
