Do you have an insane pollen season where you live?

The pine pollen is gearing up here in NC; it gets so bad, driving down the highway, you’d swear there’s a forest fire. When the wind blows, it looks like thick smoke. link

No, but when I lived in NC the pollen was like nothing I had ever seen before it was so extreme. The yellow dust was easily two inches thick on my car on some days, and that was accumulated in just a few hours parked at work before lunch time. It was incredible. I live in Florida now, not anything close to how the pollen is in NC.
Not yet, but give it a week. We’re getting buds on many trees now (Atlanta) and in a week or so, the pollen dust will go crazy.
I’m living in SENC right now. Every year the pine pollen is amazing. You go out in the morning and your car is yellow. But I’ve seen pollen like that before, in NEOH. We had evergreen bushes in the yard that when I’d mow, if I bumped into them, it was a cloud you couldn’t even see through. Thankfully I got rid of my allergies, I don’t suffer from it other than the mess of it.
Pretty rough in SW Mo, even people without allergy issues get them here. Luckiky the rain keeps them down fairly often but it gets pretty rough in spring.
This year they said it will be twice as bad due to early spring. Luckily I took prescription claritin for a year and never had issues again, even 10 years later. Weird right?!
