Is it confusing to have two Am settings on your clock radio?

AM FM, and AM PM?

No. I don’t know about Canadian schools, but in the US we were taught the difference.

AM radio = amplitude modulation

AM time = ante meridian (before noon)

Context is everything

FM is Frequency Modulation. It’s better than AM. But not better than rum.

It does not confuse me, but I learned the difference from a young age. I never thought about it before, but it could be confusing for an initiate. Good eye, good ear, great question.
