What additional professions/activities should be licensed?
Like computer programming?
To reduce the lone wolf hackers that inconvenience everyone now and then?
Feel free to add to the list.

Additional to what?
There are lots of things regulated here in Georgia that shouldn’t be. Look at this document to see how absurd it is.
Anything connected to safety, health, education, or where incompetence could result in substantial material, financial, or bodily damage.
How about clergy (priests, ministers, Imams, rabbis, etc.) ?
They would have to prove the truth of their faith to be licensed.
I would already be happy if they were met with the full force of anti fraud laws.
Or having them actually face justice for all the child rape they commit.
These days many professions require a license just so the state can collect licensing fees. Construction trades, engineering, and medical fields should require them. A hair stylist…not so much.
Alcohol sales and service.
Another occupation to regulate and license:
Prostitutes, call girls, gigolos. The personal sex trade.
Legalize it, make it safe for the customer and the provider, offer quality control.
Babysitting.
That said, I am not interested in the Government having more control over our lives.
I am wondering how much better my life would have been if I had never had a soft drink?
Why is alcohol restricted to adults and not soft drinks, or energy drinks?
Also if one needs a license not just to marry, but also to date
How much pain would be gone?
