Guilty on all counts. . . . I feel sorry for his deflated EGO ! ! !

Thank goodness!!!!
I’m so glad.

When he came out for his after court presser; I thought he was crying ! ! !

I think his EGO is trampled !

filmfann's avatar

First thing he’s earned.

JLeslie's avatar

G-34! I didn’t predict it, but that’s what happened.

JLeslie's avatar

Can the Republicans replace him with a different presidential candidate?

mazingerz88's avatar

^^In a perfect world. Not in this crazy dimension Americans are
swirling in right now.

@Tropical_Willie Must be devastating for him losing this case in court. I understand he’s the “spoiled brat” who thought that he can get away with anything simply by having the right expensive lawyers.

Witch Hunt! Scam Trial! Communist Jurors!

mazingerz88's avatar

^^All of your prediction would be proven right.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

@ragingloli I hear your sarcasm brother !

Just preempting the inevitable excuses by the puddlemutt.

The self-styled “President of Law and Order” is now a convicted criminal. I’m trying hard to keep a straight face.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

I wonder if the judge will remand him to Rikers Island on July 11th. before the court sentencing date ? ?

JLeslie's avatar

^^Doubtful.

filmfann's avatar

@JLeslie Nikki Haley is waiting by the phone.

JLeslie's avatar

@filmfann I was just texting my sister how stupid Haley was to endorse Trump, especially before this verdict.

ragingloli's avatar

@JLeslie
Stupid as well as morally bankrupt and two-faced.
After she spent her campaign railing against the orangutan and how completely unfit he is for office, the spineless snake then does a 180 and endorses him for the remote chance of netting the VP position.
One more example that you can not believe a word that comes out of a repub’s mouth.

JLeslie's avatar

@ragingloli It was disappointing but not surprising. The American public has amnesia. She can try to come back in four years and say she never thought Trump was ok and Republicans will just nod yes.

I actually voted for her in the primary to try to put in anyone but Trump, knowing she will try to do plenty of things I wouldn’t like if she won.

gorillapaws's avatar

@ragingloli What’s the reaction in your country?

elbanditoroso's avatar

We’ll be hearing from certain Flutherites tomorrow about how this was a travesty.

The problem is that 12 people of the jury decided, not the judge or the president.

Strauss's avatar

But…the appeal is inevitable.

LostInParadise's avatar

Trump’s claim that the trial is a scam rings a little hollow,, given that the jurors were approvedof by his own legal team.

Forever_Free's avatar

As hoped. I will forever remember where I was when I heard this news.

JLeslie's avatar

@LostInParadise You need to take yourself out of your POV. His lawyers had no choice; change of venue was denied.

NYC is probably over 60% Democrat (guessing) even though they do vote for Republican mayors sometimes. So, it’s very likely the jury was mostly Democrats, but probably not all of them, which makes the result very interesting. Most people I know thought at least one juror would vote guilty on some of the counts.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

@JLeslie yes there is a high percentage of Democrats, but not all jurors were Democrats. All it would take is one juror to say, “not guilty” to make it a “hung jury.”

That didn’t happen

Found guilty on 34 FELONY counts.

JLeslie's avatar

@Tropical_Willie I know, but I’m talking about what Trumpers will think.

NovDel's avatar

It was always ‘guilty’. Like in all political show-trials, the verdict was decided in advance. A jury is easy to rig in the US, and the US judiciary is the best that money can buy. Let’s be honest, the ‘Democrats’ will stop at nothing to keep him out of the presidential race. JFK is regarded as one of America’s greatest ever presidents, but how many women’s silence do you suppose he had to buy? I’d wager quite a few. Did anybody care? No.

jca2's avatar

@NovDel Did Trump’s team of attorneys not get to voir dire and choose the jury, as well as the DA’s office did?

chyna's avatar

@NovDel IF President JFK actually did buy women’s silence, do you suppose it was from campaign funds?

JLeslie's avatar

People keep sending Trump money.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

@NovDel Are you going to wear your red MAGA hat while standing in line to get ammo that you’ll use on Dems, people of color and other enemies of the Tangerine Turd; when he tells you to start killing people ?

NovDel's avatar

@Tropical_Willie No, because being in the UK I don’t have access to guns and ammo. You Yanks have got enough gibbering crazies walking around armed to the teeth. It would be a good show though.

Forever_Free's avatar

@NovDel Can you share how to rig a jury in the US as you stated.
Did any people come forward against JFK?

Please put your money (references) where you mouth seems to be.

Was Guy Fawkes a gibbering crazy?
