What is the difference between remove, and not interested?

When being sent a question?

As I recall, “remove” meant take away this question while “not interested’ flagged the topic or subject matter as one you were not interested in for other questions as well. Not sure if it still functions that way.

When I place my cursor over Remove, I get, “Remove this question from the list without changing your profile”.

…Not interested…“Tell Fluther to send fewer questions like this to you in the future”.

Where I come from, “Not Interested” means, ‘Get the Fuck Away from Me!’.

“Remove” is when you contact that guy who knows a guy who makes people disappear.
