For when pets and children are trapped in the car when it’s too hot?

There are heat sensors but not for that

I rented a Hyundai last week that had a “check back seat” reminder whenever we parked it.

A heat warming sensor would go off most every day the car was parked outside. As such it would be useless. And the car interior takes a few minutes to hear up to dangerous levels, the driver would be away from the car when the sensor goes off.

I found this:

“Yes, some cars are equipped with heat sensors to prevent tragedies involving children or pets left inside hot vehicles. These sensors can detect extreme temperatures and alert the driver or bystanders.”

I remember hearing about this also. I didn’t find out how they notify them. I also saw what @zenvelo said.
