Has anyone read 1440 Daily News Letter?

For those who don’t know about it, I found that it seems to be pretty legit. Snopes was asked to see if it was unbiased as they claim and listed reasons why they found they seem to be pretty unbiased but Snopes doesn’t seem to particularly believe any news is unbiased. I can say I agree with them. Even if you report all facts, how and when it is presented can appear bias.

Like, let’s say I hated someone. And one day I told them that John Smith said they were stupid and I wasn’t telling a lie. I’m repeating what was told to me. What I said is factually correct but doesn’t mean that person really is stupid. But my motive was biased. It was because I can’t stand them. It was to hurt them. It wasn’t something necessary to report. Another way is to give part of a story that can lead the reader to fill in the rest of the story.
Like politician seen at a hospital helping a young pregnant women in. And say everyone knows its not his wife.
Only he was at the hospital to visit a family member when he saw a young pregnant woman looking like she was having difficulty going inside for her appointment.
So by omitting stuff and saying you are just stating facts, the reader is going to assume it is his baby. Sometimes saying less doesn’t mean you are unbiased.

I haven’t heard of that. Really good description of bad reporting.
