Have you seen the book Birds aren't Real by MacIndoe and Gaydos?

It’s written as satire, and it’s hilarious. It packages up conspiracy theories from the 1950s forward into a totally bizarre, semi-documentarian narrative.

The Birds Aren’t Real movement has been around for a while. The author was in college when he started his “social experiment”. A lot of college kids thought it was funny and started their own groups.
