sigh Once again, you manage to completely fail at listening comprehension. He wasn’t talking about being eaten by electric sharks. He was talking about all electric boats. The massive weight of the battery that challenges the buoyancy of the boat. And he was asking the guy (who was apparently selling the boats) what would happen if the boat sank? If there was a shark in the water, he would have a choice of staying on the sinking boat or jumping overboard and getting eaten by sharks. He was asking if he would get electrocuted if he stayed on the boat.

I’m not even sure where you pulled electric sharks from.

I’m not a doctor but worked in a Psych hospital and it looks like early symptoms of dementia:

For once @seawulf575 is correct. Only difference is that I can understand how you came to the conclusion you did!!! 45 rambles so freakin much that it’s hard to follow what he’s trying to say. He has so much unnecessary shit come out of his mouth that the first time I heard that speech I came to the same conclusion. I bet I watched it 10 times before I finally got it sorted out in reality!!!

To answer your Q…YES, he is weird!!!

SQUEEKY2's avatar

I agree with wulfie (shock) LadyMarissa, and the Don Father is big time weird.

mazingerz88's avatar

Wish he’s just plain weird. But he’s not. He’s using weirdness to amuse his minions, mislead them into believing he is their champion who can also make them laugh.

Yet what he is truly is an infection of the mind and a disease of the soul that makes many inflicted Americans vote for him as the god who could save them from all the things that make their existence miserable.

His voters are weirder imo.

seawulf575's avatar

@mazingerz88 Weren’t you one of the ones that defended Biden to the end? He made far less sense than Trump, even on Trump’s worse day. Admit it: you knew Biden was fading into dementia, probably from the time he was first campaigning in 2019. Yet you denied everything you saw and heard him do and say. Tried to downplay it. Now you are asking a question not because you really want an answer, but because you want to make a point.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Wulfie it’s amazing how you think Biden slurs and gaffes out number you orang haired god, never heard Biden you have to flush a toilet ten plus times, or sometimes you stand in the shower for over fifteen minutes before any water comes , or repeat Nicky Haylee name over and over saying she was in charge of security on Jan 6, plus countless others.
We realize Trump can do no wrong in your eyes, and Biden was just a walking fuck up.

flutherother's avatar

It is the sort of monologue you might expect from some deadbeat who has had two or three too many drinks in the bar. But this is a contender for the job of President of the United States of America and this is an election rally. Biden had a point to make; he just lost the thread of his argument. Trump had no rational point to make in the first place. I don’t care whether Trump gets eaten by sharks or electrocuted. It is all one to me.

elbanditoroso's avatar

Not weird. Sick, slowly losing his mind.

Wulf says Biden has dementia (I would like to see Wulf’s medical credentials first).

Trump has something akin to irrationality, and we can all see that every speech.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

You know what’s not weird Biden saw people were losing faith in him so he stepped aside for the good of your country something Elweirdo would never do.

janbb's avatar

Weird is just the beginning of it so I wouldn’t go for that slogan. Too benign. Weird Al Yankovic is weird; Trump is vicious.

JLeslie's avatar

I think he’s maybe ADHD. Mind running all over the place.

I think he talks about whatever he just heard and also knows what his base talks about. Sometimes he says stuff off the wall, but sometimes it’s real problems and Dems still try to make everything he says horrible, which just seems counterproductive to me.

When I saw him right after he was shot with his fist up staying “fight” I felt like he really was a lunatic. Really was enjoying violence. I said after January 6th that it was like the masochistic King at the colosseum. I still think that.

smudges's avatar

^^ From Zuckerberg: <gag>

“On a personal note, seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pump his fist in the air with the American flag is one of the most badass things I’ve ever seen in my life. And I think, look: On some level as an American, it’s, like, hard to not get kind of emotional about that spirit and that fight, and I think that that’s why a lot of people like the guy,” he said.”

he wasn’t shot in the face!

janbb's avatar

@smudges Meanwhile the Secret Service people are trying to get him to bend down and get him to safety.

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

@janbb You are not the demographic they are trying to appeal to by calling Trump weird. It’s for young people. It resonates with my youngest loudly.

janbb's avatar

@Hawaii_Jake You’re probably right. It’s interesting though that the Democratic Governor of Minnesota first used the phrase apparently as a way to diminish Trump in peoples’ eyes. (According to an interview on CNN.)

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

^Wasn’t he a high school teacher?

MrGrimm888's avatar

The rant was different.
We heard it weeks ago, here in SC. Most people definitely made fun, of his VERY stupid rant.

Trump, for one; doesn’t understand a thing about buoyancy (why boats float.)

His moronic stumbling talking point, suggested that not only would batteries not work in water (you know better Wulf,) but that sharks apparently are ALWAYS 10 yards away if you’re in water.
Trump seeming to actually brag, about his ridiculous concept, made him look worse, and SO petty. Saying “nobody thought about this, until me!”
Deep sigh… Trump knows SO little about simple things, he can’t even make a remotely relevant point.

Obviously. Trump is buddies with those who WILL destroy our environment, and thusly he blabbed like a 7 year old on “Bill Nye, The Science Guy.”
But. This IS Trump. He’s getting up there. His sheep have a LOW bar, too. Big time. He doesn’t have to say, or do much, for them to raise a Bud Light to his senseless ravings.

Trump has such a small vocabulary, I think it hurts him often, when he’s not slowly reading a teleprompter.
He likes words like “yuge” “beautiful,” and “good.”

When he was blaming Biden for the Afghanistan pull out. He said something like ” and we lost 13 beautiful soldiers.”...
Who the FUCK, talks like that?

Trump has sadly probably NEVER, really had a normal relationship with another human. His father was too wealthy to really be a father.
Trump is usually just thinking of people, in one of two ways.
A person works for me.
A person doesn’t work for me.

He attempts, often quite oddly, to make himself appear strong.
I remember putting my hand over my face, when Trump was pulling some world leaders until they almost fall, AND not letting go.
He elbowed his way, past some other leader once, in a photo op.

There have been times, Melania wouldn’t even hold his hand for posterity.

He NEVER listens to advisors, and always somehow thinks that he probably can just wing a situation, better than experts in their respective fields.

He has fired EVERYONE, who wouldn’t be his bitch.
I can’t imagine him having ANY real friends.
When he used to be on Howard Stern, he always bragged about everything. He embelished often, and clearly LOVES talking about himself.

Honestly. There are many wealthy people, who are completely disconnected from reality. In that way, Trump is no different.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

But what is really weird Mrgrimm, is that his loyal sheep believe everything he says, they can’t get enough of his BBQ bullshit burgers.

mazingerz88's avatar

^^I feel they stopped caring a long time ago whether they should believe him or not. They’re just happy being part of the show that their gladiator TV celebrity is producing. And what they care about most in the end is winning.

seawulf575's avatar

@elbanditoroso says Trump has something akin to irrationality. I’d like to see her psychiatric credentials. Wow, that is easy to be dismissive. Cool.

canidmajor's avatar

@seawulf575 OK, let’s see yours first. You constantly make psychiatric assessments of people.

gorillapaws's avatar

I’d say “weird” is letting him off the hook (though he certainly is weird). Trump is a sexual predator, who very likely raped and beat a 13-year-old girl at Epstein’s place. He’s a monster.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

@gorillapaws a weird monster?

gorillapaws's avatar

@SQUEEKY2 A monster that happens to be weird.

janbb's avatar

“Irrationality” is not a DSM diagnosis. It is an observable fact – or opinion as the case may be.

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

And Vance is a creep. He has sex with sofas and desperately wants to control women’s bodies.

MrGrimm888's avatar

Wow. We go hard, in Social, these days!

Yes. Beating and raping, a 13 year old girl, at a REAL like world’s wealthiest brothel, is a little weird. Maybe more (hopefully) abnormal.

But. I think some REALLY shady shit happened there, with some heavy weight names. Trump may be just one, of several presidents, prime ministers, leaders, and rich and famous people to disappoint us all with that place. (Wulf. That place was some “deep state”/CIA shit.)

I think it may be relevant to note, that presidents are followed everywhere with cameras. Maybe a lot if us would seem weird, if we were constantly being filmed.

JL. I do think he has some attention issues. He seems to have the memory of a Goldfish.

Do yall remember how fucking weird Rudy was, with Trump?
I have not been SO sure that someone was on, or needed drugs SO obviously.
In the end, Rudy had that black shit running down the side of his head, like Gary Oldman’s character in “5th Element,” who sold his soul to the Evil space thingie…

I wonder if MTG, was once normal? There’s another product of religious indoctrination, and Trumpism…

Demosthenes's avatar

Trump is weird, though Vance is weirder, and some of the stuff they’re latching onto is quite strange and seems very “online” and not particularly relevant to the voters they’re trying to reach. MAGA is getting weirder, and it remains to be seen whether it pays off.

It is bothering them, though. They’re now claiming that “weird” is a slur. Lmao. Good luck with that one.

JLeslie's avatar

Oh, I see. That’s the new thing, calling Trump weird, I’m hearing it on TV now.

The Republicans are doing the same about Kamala, saying she has a crazy laugh, saying she’s not serious and say she is part of the loon wing of the Democratic party.

I think that’s Russia or China again trying to divide us Americans. If not, then just the typical tit for tat.

MrGrimm888's avatar

The right is easily triggered, these days… Poor things…

janbb's avatar

I kind of get it now. It’s like throwing water on the Wicked Witch. “I’m melting.” The bullies can’t stand being laughed at.

MrGrimm888's avatar

^I’m positive that before that little twerp almost killed Trump, they thought the country was afraid of them.

As I’ve been saying all along, they are total cowards. A pathetic remnant of America’s racist past. Not a sign of hope, for the future.

jca2's avatar

I noticed that Trump likes to talk in absolutes. He has the biggest crowds EVER! Biden is the worst President EVER! Kamala is the stupidest Vice President EVER! and on and on and on and on.

elbanditoroso's avatar

@jca2 in his mind, anything but extreme statements are a sign of weakness. The word ‘nuance’ isn’t in his vocabulary.

smudges's avatar

^^ Neither is the word succinct.
