Who, in your opinion, is the hottest character (male or female) in the Far Cry series?

I mean any character, not just main characters. For example, a couple of my own favourites are Nadine Abercrombie (FC5) and Serene (New Dawn).

I’ve only played parts of Far Cry 2. It’s mostly about violence and adventure. I don’t remember much in the way of hotness.

Well that tells you how much I know about gaming…I assumed Far Cry was a tv show.

I quite enjoyed Far Cry 2. I got it (in a bargain bin for $10) after reading about it’s design in a book on game design.

It’s set in a 3rd world country with lots of gangsters and other violent thugs, and you end up stranded alone.

It’s pretty gritty and mostly I thought pretty well designed. It pretty much lets you roam and explore freely, and doing all sorts of chaos is what you’re intended to do. It has a large world, and you have to go around scrounging and stealing transportation and weapons and so on.

The scenarios and mechanics support a lot of logical cause and effect and appropriate responses (including confusion and panic) from the NPCs, and a lot of randomness from violent events and vehicles going out of control, such that what happens is dynamic and logical but chaotic and unpredictable, which is just the kind of gameplay I tend to love.

Also, there aren’t really gamey overdone “bosses” or under-represented guns, so things are about as deadly as they should be, which I also appreciate.

I haven’t looked much at the other Far Cry games, but they seem to be by other designers and feature more gonzo and unrealistic airplane stunts and things, though I am sure they have lots of good points – just not as much my style, and I never even finished all of Far Cry 2, so I haven’t tried any of the others.
