What kind of super-fast phone charger might this have been?

I just bought a new phone today, because the old phone had serious charging issues. A few months ago, I had taken the old phone to a fix-it place and so I brought it back there to see if they could charge it one last time.

I needed to get the new phone hooked up to my carrier, and I found out that all that had to be done was take the SIM card out of the old phone and put it into the new phone. I went back to the fix it place to get the SIM card from the old phone, and the guy offered to put it into the new one. He then charged it up with a charger that gave it a 50% charge within about ten seconds.

I am going to ask him what kind of charger it is next time I’m there, but before I do, might anybody here know? Usually, with phones I’ve had, it takes at least an hour to charge up.
