Why didn't MD Cooper publish new books in the Aeon 14 universe in 4 years?

Last year book #10 of the sentience wars should’ve been released, “Lyssa’s Vengeance”. I can’t find it. Seems many more which should’ve been on amazon didn’t appear. 4 years have passed, and some threads are left dangling. I don’t know what to say. Do you know anything about it?

My experience is that sometimes authors get bored with the character or get bored with the plot and simply run out of things to say. You can look at the author Lee child and his Jack reacher books for an example of an author who just didn’t like his character anymore.
