Do you think Trump will try and flee the country if he loses the election?

No. He’ll retreat to Mar-a-Lago and send out his flying monkeys.
He doesn’t have his passport . . .after being convicted as a felon !
I would imagine his Secret Service protection goes away if he’s a wanted fugitive. I would have to think that would play a role in his decision-making.

@SQUEEKY2 I’ve been reading that he’s planning on living in Venezuela because they don’t have an extradition treaty with the US. I’m also seeing a lot of chatter that his own people are asking him to drop out. So, I’m hoping that he will leave the country first & leave a Dear John letter to the country. In his mind, he could control his minions from anywhere in the world. He doesn’t even want to be President, he just wants to win!!! I can see him going either way depending on who has his ear on which day & I do my best to NOT think like him!!!
Doubtful. He is like the shit you accidentally step in on a hike. It just keeps smelling badly and always sticks around.
He might end up with chubby lover in North Korea.
I could see him at some Russian oligarchs only resort city in Europe or Asia.

It just occurred to me, he could make an AI Trump, that would be a “YUGE” asshole for the rest of time…
Thought experiment – posit for a moment that Trump did, in fact, escape out of the US to avoid his legal problems.
How would his MAGA drones react? Would they make excuses for him and excuse Trump’s cowardice and unwillingness to face the music? Or would they continue to revere him as the demi-god they have believed in for the last eight years? Would they see him as being a martyr for their cause? (which is my guess)

If he left, it would be like he was a martyr. The truth, is irrelevant to Trump sheep. Whatever he claims the reason is, so it will be written.
@elbanditoroso He’s continually labelled himself a patriot and patruots fight they dont flee for any reason. So he would lose all support as a coward and traitor. Imo.
He’s so random that I don’t know. He’s said he would, sometimes.
I think the government has him constantly in sight, and probably don’t want him to leave, so I doubt he’d succeed, even with Russian agent support.
Flee? I’m thinking that if inside his own demented brain he realizes his defeat is inevitable, and in time he will see the insides of a prison cell, he might quit the race.
Either that or play persecuted Jesus when he loses. Use a hammer to nail himself on a golden cross in Mar-A-Lago hoping his sycophants would start a civil war in his name.
@KNOWITALL he labels himself a lot of things to try and get elected. Just because he calls himself a patriot doesn’t mean that he is one. His loyalty is to himself and his wallet. It just so happens that running for president has given him a lot of power and ego stroking, even if not money.
I think that if he loses and felt cornered legally, he would say “MAGA be damned” and leave.

I think if he wound up anywhere that we don’t want to share our presidential-level secrets with, it’d become a mission for some silent, nameless entity of the CIA.
And they might let him escape just so they’d have the excuse to do it. There’s a lot of space to move around in in, say, Venezuela.
It seems more likely that he has some sort of gold-painted-plastic underground hideout within the U.S. And if that’s the case, he’ll give himself away. Not the discreet, quiet type, that one.
@elbanditoroso @KNOWITALL I think Trump can leave (I doubt he would) and still maintain his Patriot identity to keep his extreme loyalists. He can say he is working from a secret place to fix the US and complete the goals. The extreme MAGA will fix in their mind whatever the story needs to be so they feel ok with admiring and trusting him. He is like a God to them, I think the majority of them would stay faithful. The average Republican who votes for him would probably just move on to their next favorite candidate. They support the goals of the party more than anything. The extremist MAGA, a lot of them do not even identify as Republicans, they are Independents or Libertarians.

He can just live here and never be seen again, if he wanted. His home on 5th Avenue and Mar a Lago are big enough and private enough, with his protection, that he could be a hermit.
