Have you decided how you are voting in November?

Asked by jca2 (16826points) 2 months ago

I’m not asking how you plan to vote, because that’s personal. Im asking if you have decided who you are going to vote for.

I’m watching a Sunday morning news show and the host said a poll showed that 8% of voters are not sure who they’re going to vote for, the rest have already decided.

Oh, yeah, except for the hyperlocal elections. In September, those will start advertising, then I’ll research the candidates and decide when I have enough information. Local issues tend to differ from national issues, so I vote the person, not the party.

Yup . . I’m not part of th 8%.

When it comes to the major elections, I’m NOT part of the 8%!!! Locally, I flip flop daily.

I decided on Jan 6 2021.

There is only one choice for me when it comes to what I feel is most important, women, minorities and the LGBTQ+ community, as well as future SCOTUS and our democracy.

I see no candidates worth voting for. It’s a no-win situation with no lesser evil. On one hand, we have a continuation of the same people (War hawks) running things as they please behind a useful idiot. On the other, we have an unpredictable bull in a china shop. Either way, we are heading for trouble. Foreign policy is the #1 thing we all need to worry about. #2 The state of our democracy. All the other shit is tertiary. Count me in that 8%

My vote is locked in.

Yes. I’m so excited to have a chance to vote for a new Senator in Florida and get rid of Rick Scott.

Obviously, I’ll be voting for Harris.

We also have some important ballot items.

Hell Trop Willy, if I could walk I could walk to the voting station. Benefit of living in a tiny town
Pop 1000. Hell I’d crawl there if I had to!
But thanks.
