What unusual things do you do based on technology?

Example: It’s easy to see out my sliding glass door if I look up from the recliner. Sometimes I’ll just glance up and see something that I’m not sure of. My instant thought is to push the ‘back’ button so I can see it again and I get frustrated when I remember that I can’t. This happens a lot.
I do something similar when reading a book – my inclination is to do a ‘search’ for something I read previously but forgot.
Do you do anything weird based on technology? In your car? on tv? ipod? tablet?

Ha ha, those examples are familiar to me.
A few times I have planned to push the unlock button on my car key fob to open my home’s front door. I instantly realize the error and laugh at myself.
I have worked in technology since high school and made a career of it.
It’s all unusual and all very usual.
My houses are completely filled and run off technology. What I do unusual is that I try to use all of it as rarely as possible. Yet knowing the technology is there when I need it is comforting.
At the end of every day (even through the day), I delete all my text messages, browser history, phone calls, voice messages, and photos on my phone. If it’s important, I’ll save to my cloud storage in neatly organized folders – but the phone stays clean.
It’s similar on my computer. Nothing on the desktop, downloads folder, browser history, etc.
Every day is a clean slate.
^^ I envy you – my desktop is a mess!
Can’t think of a single one.
I think it’s weird that we carry a phone with us everywhere. The normal ness of that is weird.
I automated some of the lights in our house. The lights to the living room go out at midnight. If we stay up too late watching TV, the lights go out while we’re still there. I’ll grab my phone and turn the light back on. None of that “getting my butt off the couch” business.
^^ Remember how annoying it was to have to get up to change the channel?!
^^ remember when you had to change the channel with a pair of pliers when the dial broke?
