How unlucky do you have to be for this to happen to you?
One time, when I was a kid, I was having a bad day and my favorite song at the time came on the radio but I got so excited I twisted my ankle.

Some. A lot. Many. A few. Slightly. Highly. How does one measure luck?
In my late teens, early 20s a sprained ankle was a common occurrence!!! I NEVER even considered it a luck or unlucky event…simply normal.
This isn’t a big one, but it cracks me up when I picture of it – my sister and I were just arriving at her apt. It was pouring rain and I had to pee. Running across the parking lot, I came upon a huge puddle and did what I believed was a graceful grande jete’ to get across it. Instead, I landed smack in the middle of it! That made me laugh so hard that I peed myself.
Was the song “Twist and Shout” by the Beatles. That would truly be unlucky but in a way very truthful and lived out.
I’ve sprained everything at one time or another. It’s called being active.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Just ask Thomas Aquinas
For as punishment is to the evil act, so is reward to a good act. Now no evil deed is unpunished, by God the just judge. Therefore no good deed is unrewarded, and so every good deed merits some good.[a]
— Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica
That’s not unlucky.
That’s impressive.
It just means that God, doesn’t want you to be upset. But he doesn’t want you to be too happy, either.
