Please suggest some books or movies where the princess rescues the prince?

Pacific Rim: Mako rescues Charlie.

Well, there was Princess Diana rescuing Prince Charles from Queen Elizabeth’s strong hold. It worked until Charles has Diana murdered.

Several of the newer Disney movies like Moana and Encanto have girl heroes. I don’t remember if they rescue princes or not.

Frozen was about sisterhood and how they needed each other more than the prince, who they did bail out in the movie.

Rapunzel?

Enchanted. A Disney movie where cartoon characters enter the real world. The princess is the one that saves the prince (or at least the guy she fell in love with).

I’m surprised no one has answered Mulan. I know technically she wasn’t a Princess but damn she was a solid female lead that saved a whole nation, let alone her romantic interest.

also as a nerdy side note, another good female lead who is out saving the whole planet is Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.
