Has the VR (virtual reality) fad died?

A couple years ago, VR was the latest tech thing. Facebook put out a viewer, Apple did too, and VR was touted as the next big thing in entertainment video and gaming. It was the “must have” tech toy.

Now, in 2024, bupkis. You never hear about VR. No articles, no hoopla, just dead silence.
