He was one of the greats and is now with God – or maybe is his replacement? Such a wonderful actor and such a great voice!
What was your favorite role of his?

What good run he had! Actually, I think my favorite may have been when he played himself on The Big Bang Theory, tongue very firmly in cheek!
RIP
I’m of the age that I best remember his voice as Darth Vader.
Great artist he’ll be missed but remembered.
I saw him in “Driving Miss Daisy” on Broadway.
“Being brave doesn’t mean you go looking for trouble.”
As a child, I always imagined God’s voice as his. Maybe because of Mufasa appearing in the sky…
The world has lost another legend.
Field Of Dreams is my favorite film of his. Dr. Strangelove and SW:TESB are up there too.
Coming to America, yeah I’m old. Ha! I also loved his spots on Big Bang.
As voices are my day job, not going to lie, I adored his smooth delivery in that deep tone. Calming.
So many good movies with his golden voice.
I loved him as Mr. Mertle in The Sandlot.. “I take it back. You’re not in trouble, you’re dead where you stand”
Many good portrayals! RIP
Rip , your no longer an Earl, you are a king.
Does anyone know if he was in, “Coming to America 2”?
@RedDeerGuy1 Yes he was.
When I have time to be at the keyboard, I will tell my story about JEJ.
