How do I get tree sap off my butt?

We’re camping this weekend at a nice private spot. I leaned against a pine tree to pee and now my underpants keep sticking to my butt. I jumped in the lake and that didn’t help.

Freeze it if you can to make it easier to remove then apply alcohol which will help break down the sap so it can be blotted away.
I have used baby powder (corn starch based) then been able to rub it off.
And thanks for this, a “butt sap” Q gave me a giggle this morning.
If you are at home, you can use vegetable oil. Rub it onto the sap spot, lathering it up. Wait 3 minutes or so and then rinse it off. No soap. The sap will rinse away with the oil.
Try peanut BUTTer. Don’t worry, you’ll get in the end.
Boiling hot water may help. But be sure to remove your underwear before applying the hot water treatment. HA!
Dawn liquid dish soap, just like ad with oil soaked ducklings.
Dish soap. I would also try rubbing alcohol if the soap doesn’t work.
Pine sap, on your skin?
I’d try Dawn. But. It’s likely no matter what, your butt will be sticky for a while…
The best choice is a solvent called Desolve It. It’s made from Orange Juice. I don’t know if plain orange juice will work.
Rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. on the clothing and your butt.
For the clothing I also heard you can Spray WD-40 on the sap, then rinse with a solution of vinegar and water. Wash the clothing as usual.
I spent the day yesterday playing in the waves so much that my fingers became pruned. That and a change of underwear helped a little with the stickiness. A long hot shower when we got home today with lots of scrubbing got everything off, I think. :D
@Forever_Free thank you for the information about clothing. I’ve found it very difficult to get out. I’ll try your recommendation!
The same way you would get it off any other place on your body.
Anxiously awaiting the result of “The Case of the Sticky Butt”
If you can dip your rear in a river, and sit there for long enough, the tiny fish will eat it off. Just sit still, there will be hundreds or thousands of little fish, all eager to eat old skin cells and whatever isn’t live tissue.
Ya, enquiring minds . . .
Above She says . A long hot shower when we got home today with lots of scrubbing got everything off, I think. :
Pics or it never happened.
