Do you microwave or use the toaster for Eggos?
I don’t like crispy Eggos. So I cook on high for 1 minute in the microwave.

Eggosin?
I make egg McMuffins. I start by cracking an egg in a coffee cup. I nuke for 22 seconds to set the round shape. Then I slide it into hot butter in a skillet on the stove. Add cheese and English muffin and viola!
@Dutchess_III Eggos is a brand of frozen waffles.
I do both. I thaw my frozen waffles (homemade) in the microwave, then put them in toaster to de-soggy them.
Toaster. No need to unfreeze them. I put frozen pretzels, frozen bagel halves, and frozen bread slices directly in the toaster too.
Oh yes @canidmajor. I have some!
Cooking them in the microwave threw me off. If they were frozen they’d just get soggy.
I agree with @Leslie. Just throw them in the toaster frozen.
Well I know what I’m having for breakfast!
I actually use my oven for eggo’s because I don’t like them crisp either.
My husband uses a toaster for that junk food.
I don’t think I’ve ever eaten, let alone cooked, an Eggo.
For my response, I’ll reference how I treat leftover pizza. Using a microwave is horrible in my opinion for such things. It gets all soggy and doesn’t have that bit of crispness you want.
And how dedicated am I to this principle? For the first time since before I went in the hospital in May and came home on oxygen, I finally ordered a pizza. The reason I didn’t for all that time was because while I was on oxygen I couldn’t use my gas stove and oven. So I refuse to order pizza because I would have had leftovers and I wouldn’t have had a suitable way to reheat them.
Toaster always — whether it’s frozen waffles, bagels, bread, etc., I like what toasters do.
I’ll sometimes make a large batch of homemade pancakes, layer them between parchment paper in a tupperware, and freeze them. One or two straight into the toaster comes out great.
