How can I make a folder in Windows 11 accessible only to the owner?

I recently bought a new PC, and decided to move the user libraries from the C: drive (SSD) to the D: drive (HDD), and keep the C: drive for the operating system and software. I find that the library files on the D: drive are accessible to all users. I’m a bit nervous about fiddling with security settings in case I accidentally lock myself out of my own files. How can I block other users from access? Any guidance kindly appreciated.

1) go to File Manager
2) locate the folder
3) right click the Folder Name
4) go to the Security tab. It will show you who has permissions and what they are
5) click EDIT, the mini-screen will redraw
6) change permissions as needed
7) click SAVE
