When you travel, if you have flexibility with your schedule, would you prefer to not rush in the morning and arrive whenever, feeling good from a good night sleep, or wake up extra early, get on the road and arrive early but feeling tired?

I’m a person who likes to not rush in the morning, and I like to feel good from having a good rest and not being too hectic in the morning. A friend’s husband gets them out at 3 or 4 in the morning when they travel, and she is exhausted and feeling crappy.

Of course, people do what they want and my friend and her husband’s way suits them, and my way suits me. I’m not looking to change any minds. Just wondering what you do.

This is one reason why I hate flying. When you fly, you have to go by the airline schedule, whereas when you drive, you can kind of go with the flow.
