Door Dash also does it with some restaurants.
Download the apps and sign up with your credit card.
WHAT did you get ?????
Hope you liked it !
You can download the apps for your smart phone or simply Google, UberEats, DoorDash, and GrubHub.
Sign up for free and then see which of your favorite restaurants use which service. Note they all usually charge delivery fees which can vary in amount.
My son and his family deliver for Uber Eats. They supplement their income with the extra work.
They come to Kansas YarnLadyNeedsYarn? :D
@Dutchess_III some restaurants will deliver without Doordash or Uber Eats. Call the restaurant first and ask. You might save yourself some fees that the apps charge.
I’m thinking McDs and such.
Also we’re a little far away for the closest restaurants to deliver…but I’ll check.
I remember a few years ago (pre pandemic), I wanted to get some food delivered from a local restaurant. I didn’t want anything big, just maybe some string beans and mac and cheese. I looked at their menu and site, and they had a 25 dollar minimum, and 5 dollar delivery fee. I remember thinking between the minimum, the tax, the tip and the delivery fee, I was looking at 40 dollars. I said to myself, 40 dollars for mac and cheese and string beans? No thanks, I’ll cook something instead.
My first practice order was an order of Strawberry Jell-O from a Chinese restaurant. Was delicious.
Right. But I can’t cook @jca2. Nothing more than microwave shit IF I even have microwave stuff in the house.
Is there no “meals on wheels” that serves your area?

I know. I’ve been meaning to contact Deb.
