From my understanding, there is Twin, Twin XL (common in dorms), Full, Queen, King, and California King (which is basically King XL).

I’m stuck with a twin.
He’ll. 4 years ago I was on a California King waterbed.

Only if you go the custom route at a steep cost.

I believe the difference in width between a twin and a double is only a foot.

A king is equivalent to two twins so we’re not talking about big differences between each size.

I should add that the twin and double are both a certain length, Queen and King are longer (so when I said a king is equivalent to two twins, I meant in width but not length).

I mentioned twin xl in my earlier comment.

Yeah. It’s just a couple inches longer.

There is something called a three quarter bed. They’re between a twin and double in width. My grandma had one when she lived with us. Three quarter bed

Sounds perfect @tedibear
Now I gotta figure out where to get one. Amazon shows 21 or 2 then slides into Queens.
Thank you.
