Friends have amazingly colorful video and photos of the Aurora Borealis recently. I have friends as far south as South Carolina seeing them.
I took a tour of the NOAA facility in Boulder two weeks ago and they mentioned solar flares should be peaking this year.
I wish I was up north to see some of it. I probably should have looked up into the night sky when I was in Colorado, but I failed to do so. I assume they are seeing some of it in that state.
