What minor thing are you happily anticipating?

This is a big thing. Going to Hawai’i for Thanksgiving. A small thing is that I’m making moussaka from my eggplants today and will freeze it for a dinner party with neighbors in a few weeks.

Nothing so lofty as the potential for World Travel, but my kiddo and some friends and I really enjoy a winter’s farmers market every year that has special vendors. We can’t wait to see the pie lady, the stinky cheese people and the hot sauce guy.

Between Saturday and Tuesday or Wednesday, it’s supposed to be in the 70s here. I look forward to spending some time on the deck, laying on the chaise lounge, under the umbrella. Not to get a tan, (hence the umbrella), just to enjoy the perfect dry fall weather. This is the time of year where it can be in the 50’s or it can be really nice, so I am going to take advantage of it and appreciate it while it’s here. After mid-week, it’s going to be in the 50s and so I have to take it while I can get it.

Planting some plants. I have a fern, a lavendar plant, and a rosemary, waiting to go in the ground when I have time. I’m sure they’re anticipating that too.

The release of Girls Frontline 2 Exilium.

I’m always anticipating the next book on my list that I want to read. Today’s Friday, so I’m anticipating sleeping in for the next couple days. I mean, I have church on Sunday, but I don’t have to get up till 9:30 so that’s pretty good. Overall, I’m just looking forward to not having to go anywhere this weekend except for church. Also, I’m making ribs in my Crock-Pot this weekend.

Going to Disney with friends on Monday.

Every Thursday I love going to that zumba class.

This coming Wednesday having our annual potluck party in my folk dancing class.

Getting into my bed at night and being comfy and warm.

The next couple of weeks seeing lots of Hallowing clothing and costumes.

My husband and I are taking my father on a drive to see fall colors in the Driftless area of Wisconsin on Saturday. We’ll have lunch on the lower Wisconsin River, then take a chairlift ride on a nearby ski hill.

I just learned that my center is going to organize a Halloween party for all the kids. I had already designed a game for the mini-game activity. It is special because it features my own artwork and not stock photos like most games we use for the kids. It’s not only a contribution to the workplace, it’s also my passion project. The only thing I’m hoping now is that my colleagues will approve of it.

Finishing the painting I started this morning. It’s coming along well.

Watching the 6th game of the NLCS between the Dodgers and the Mets; and the final game of the WNBA Finals between the NY Liberty and the Minisoda Lynx; while listening to Alice Cooper.
