What book was so good you thought about it when you weren't reading?

I’m reading Family Meal by Bryan Washington right now, and it’s got a strong hold on me. I think about the characters and events when I’m not reading. It’s so very good.

In This House Of Brede by Rumer Godden is one my mind returns to often, and I reread it about every five years. Which reminds me, I’m due.

All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whittaker is a recent one. i felt like I was living in two worlds while I read it.

Tyrants of the Nine Hells. The book answered some gaps that standard religious books skipped over.

Costs $1,600 in Amazon. Free version has computer viruses. Sign out at a library, for free.

^^ If you mean the D&D supplement, “Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine”, I found it for $128.00 on Amazon if you’re interested.

@smudges Yes, thanks.

I read it a couple of months ago from two jelly friends who each sent me a digital copy. It crashed my computer and I donated to the computer repair shop. I was able to read most of the book before my desktop computer went kaput. It was worth it.
I will pay off my debts before buying any more books.

^^ Ohmigosh! Viruses are evil! Where did you see that it cost $1,600?

@smudges Months ago on Amazon.com. A collectors pristine copy was $1,600. I asked a question about it in Fluther, and two Jellies emailed me a digital copy for free. My computer cost $1,500 , and was an all in one desktop computer from Dell. It was worth it.

It was a believable fictional depiction of Hell, and it’s inhabitants.

@smudges I did not include the price of the computer. Next time I will pay the $1,600. It was worth it. As it explains and extends the world of D&D, and religion. I don’t need it anymore. As I have absorbed most of what It offerd. I have too many books.

Dantes trilogies are the next books on my list to read. Just not yet. I have a long backlog of books to read.
