Do you look back and realize all of the fun and new things you saw and did while remembering the trip more than when you are in the moment?
This happens to me sometimes, it happened on my recent trip to Colorado. I liked it while there, but appreciate it even more looking back on it.
I think it’s partly because I was responsible for a lot of the planning. I always am the planner when my husband and I are traveling. Also, my husband was just getting over covid, so we were beyond normal careful since we had a wedding to go to, which was tiresome.
Sometimes I’m very in the moment, sometimes not.
