Yes, but you will want to add spices and salt and pepper, maybe onion power and garlic powder too.

Making egg salad is fun. You boil the eggs and peel them. Then you cut up the boiled egg. You can add mayonnaise and then flavorings. You get to decide what you want it to taste like.

I like to add salt and pepper and a little squirt of mustard. Some people add herbs. Really, the sky is the limit.

Enjoy!

shredded eggs, mayo, mustard, salt, pepper. Maybe peas, baby carrots, spring onions, cubed bacon or ham.

As @Hawaii_Jake said, you get to choose spices to your liking. I like a little powdered mustard and some curry powder, and sprinkle paprika on it too!

And the combo of curried egg salad served on toasted cinnamon raisin bread is out of this world. Prepare to wake your taste buds up to a world of delight.

Boil eggs. Chop eggs. Mix eggs with mayo, mustard, salt and pepper. Make a sandwich. Done! (Adding minced celery would be good if you like it and want crunch)

I myself go with the very simple hard-boiled eggs, chopped up with mayonnaise. I don’t put mustard on mine. I reserve that for deviled eggs. But then I don’t add a lot to my tuna either. Just pepper and onion flakes. Some people put all sorts of stuff in their tuna salad.

My late husband’s shortcut was to slather mayo on both slices of bread, use an egg slicer to cut up two hard-boiled eggs, and just lay the slices on the bread. Salt and pepper, yes, but nothing more. That was his workday lunch for years.

Update Boiling 3 eggs now for 10–12 minutes. My first attempt at making egg sandwiches.

Will only add mayonnaise this time.

Wish me luck.

Update Was medium soft boiled. Tasted ok. Will toast the bread next time. Will cook longer, and add salt. I ate with knife and fork as was runny.

Or make soft boiled eggs and as dip for toast soldiers.
