How does mathematics work in different languages, and cultures?

Including other than English?
Do some cultures have different methods?
Like Metric, and Imperial systems?

Like Cree do they have a word for factorial!.

@Tropical_Willie In all countries? In history? What mathematics was in the new world before Columbus in 1492? What do other cultures have to teach us?

Arabic numbers include ZERO – - new concept for Europeans in the 10th century.

What is true in mathematics is true everywhere but mathematical knowledge can be extended indefinitely beginning with the premise that one plus one equals two.

Mathematics is pretty universal. Even is someone doesn’t know about it, it still exists and applies to so many things around them. You can change labels such as metric or Imperial, but the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division all still apply. The units changed, that’s all.
