Why does holiday chocolate taste so much better?

Asked by SergeantQueen (13117points) 1 month ago

Reese’s santas, pumpkins, whatever taste so much better than normal. Same with snickers and all that

It does not. That is just the placebo effect.

Have to disagree about the Reese’s Pumpkins. My favorite Reese’s peanut butter cups are the thins milk chocolate, more chocolate than the regular. The pumpkin ratio is just the opposite, the pumpkins are more peanut filling and less chocolate. If you haven’t tried the thins I highly recommend them. Here’s what the bag looks like: https://www.hersheyland.com/products/reeses-thins-milk-chocolate-peanut-butter-cups-3-1-oz-bag.html

mmmm I’m going to try the thins. Bet I’ll love them!

@smudges My husband prefers the thins with dark chocolate. The milk chocolate are the same chocolate as the regular Reese’s. I mostly mention it to make sure you read the package well when you buy it, make sure you get the chocolate you prefer.

Maybe because they are fresh?

The secretly put smuggled drugs in it around the holidays. I heard it from JD Vance. Just passing on what I heard.

^^^ Ugh…JD Vance lives in my neighborhood. My community won’t miss him after he moves, but we’re not happy about the reason.
