Who is responsible for paying the bill on Trump's rallies?

Asked by SQUEEKY2 (23471points) 1 month ago

There is almost ¾ of a million dollars owed to different cities for his rallies.
So is it ole Donny boy him self, or is it the Republican party?

The Trump campaign would be on the hook for any bills. Just like the $20M that Kamala still owes.

Deflect much??
And I bet Kamala will pay her tab long before your orange hero ever does .

Love_my_doggie's avatar

^^^ Yep. Much of his campaign debt goes back to 2015.

@SQUEEKY2 Time will tell, won’t it? As for deflecting, the question is effectively who is responsible for campaign bills. What I find humorous is that you are concerned about ¾ of a million dollars and ignore 20 million.

Time will tell?
Golly wulfie your hero is already 9 years behind in paying his bills Kamala has the funds in her campaign chest and I bet it won’t take 9 years and counting to pay.

@Tropical_Willie I’m not excusing Trump at all. That’s what you are missing. What I don’t understand is why you are getting so bunched up about Trump owing less than $1M when Kamala owes more than $20M. You ARE making excuses for her. Apparently it isn’t screwing people over that you care about, only when you think you can get Trump for something. That is called obsession or in the layman’s parlance…TDS.

OH there it is say anything negative about the Don Father and your nothing but a hater, but it’s fine for the Rep/cons to scream non stop hate and lies about the dems but that’s ok.

@seawulf575 Yes you are excusing him; YOU are the apologist GENERAL for the TURD !

I hope you don’t depend on Medicaid – - – He is going to balance the budget by cutting back on that and other support systems; so the the rich and famous can be golf players at his resorts.

He loves charging thousand of dollars for a round of golf at his resorts. He needs the rich to keep coming back to pay for his court cases and lawyers.

@SQUEEKY2 Go back and look at my first answer on this thread. Who is responsible for the unpaid bills? The candidate. The ¾ Million Trump owes and the 20 million Kamala owes, it is their responsibility. Now, that is as down the line as you can get. It is a simple answer to the question that didn’t really attack either side (unlike the question). It wasn’t a deflection (which was your first claim). It wasn’t excusing Trump for unpaid bills.

What really has you and @Tropical_Willie in a lather is that you know I pointed out a fact you wanted to ignore…that the Dem candidate was even worse in debt than the Repub candidate. And neither of you is capable of saying anything bad about the Dem candidate. You two need your heads examined. Your TDS is over the top.

@Tropical_Willie No, I don’t depend on Medicaid. Yeah, I know you believe he is going to do all sorts of cutbacks there, blah, blah, blah. But I will be getting into Medicare next year. And thanks to Biden and Harris and the Inflation Reduction Act, I will be paying a whole lot more for things. Part of the IRA they have said was so great is that they moved money from Medicare, specifically the prescription coverage, to pay for Green New Deal things. So while you are ranting about who is going to impact me in my latter years, you might want to get the facts first. And I already got a sneak peak at what the changes are going to look like. The change is going to drive up prescription coverage premiums. It was supposed to take effect next year, but that would have put the changes in front of everyone right at election time. So they scrambled to take millions of taxpayer dollars to give to the 5 largest insurance companies to hold off one year to put forth the changes, effectively paying the change for 2025 to hide it for the election. But I got a notice from Aetna about how our coverage was going to change. It had been $10/month, it is going up to $60/month. Yep, $50/month is what every senior will be paying for prescription coverage because of the Inflation Reduction Act wanting to ram Green New Deal crap down our throats. That is your Democrats in action and how they take care of people. They sure take care of the insurance companies! You know, the big corporations and their rich buddies?

^^^ Oh okay that is why Trump keeps stiffing people @seawulf575 ! ^^^

seawulf575's avatar

@Tropical_Willie No, that is why Medicare Part D prices are going to skyrocket for seniors. Of course you don’t care about that since it was Biden and Harris that did it to the seniors. It’s only important if Trump does it, right?

Tropical_Willie's avatar

The Q was about Trump’s disrespect of small businesses and communities !

^^^ Oh okay that is why Trump keeps stiffing people @seawulf575 ! ^^^.

Focus on the question and stop derailing; then go into right wing WEAVE ! ! !
