How does 911 handle calls for one person calling for another in a different city?
Say you are calling someone in dire straights that lives in another city far away? What do you tell the 911 operator?

Give them the info, then they will call emergency services in the other city.
We’ve called the police in the other city and asked for an urgent wellness check on someone. Meanwhile, one of us kept the person on the phone.
My former sister-in-law did the same for my mother once and saved her life. She was having a stroke.
No, wait, she actually called for an ambulance.
