The Lord of the Rings, compared to Lloth the Spider Queen, of the dark elves, from Forgotten Realms novels?

How do they originate?

Lolth came first. She’s a demon lord worshiped by the Drow and is ancient. Lothlorian is more recent, being in Middle Earth in the Third Age and ruled by Galadrial using Nenya to protect it and hide it from Sauron.

I guess it depends on what you are asking? Which was in print first? Lothlorian. Lord of the Rings was written in the 1930s or 40s, published in 1954. Lolth was created by Gary Gygax who helped create D&D which was much later…1974 I think.
